Race For The Oceans is a forum for swimmers and swimming fans to dive in to ocean conservation. As a swimmer, Aaron Peirsol feels a special connection to our oceans and wants to do everything in his power to protect them. As he trains for the 2012 Olympics, he’s also swimming to raise awareness about the threats facing our oceans. He hopes that this partnership with Oceana will encourage other swimmers to race for the oceans as well.

Oceana is the largest international group focused 100% on ocean protection. With Aaron’s help, Oceana’s harnessing the strength of the swimming community to fight back and save our oceans. In just five years with the help of hundreds of thousands of “WaveMakers” worldwide, Oceana has already begun to turn things around. But we still have a long way to go. In order to bring back the healthy, abundant oceans that our grandparents knew, Oceana needs YOUR support.

Join Aaron Peirsol, Oceana and WaveMakers around the world as we race for the oceans together at http://www.racefortheoceans.org.
